Mission of South Roebuck CDC
1. To provide a learning environment in which children can live and grow in the way Jesus grew.

2. To help each child develop the skills of problem solving and creative thinking.
3. To help each child develop math concepts, language skills, and love for good literature.
4. To make provisions for individual differences in children by planning age appropriate learning experiences and activities.
5. To provide opportunities for aesthetic, cultural and environmental experiences.
6. To provide opportunities for children to work and play harmoniously with others.
7. To provide activities designed to develop both gross and fine motor skills.
8. To provide opportunities for the child to develop discipline from within.

General Requirements for ALL personnel include the following:
1. Professed Christian exhibited through personal lifestyle choices
2. Active in local church; weekly attendance as a minimum requirement
3. Nineteen years of age or older
4. Capacity to discern the feeling and needs of a child, and to deal with them sympathetically
5. Dependability and consistency
6. Flexibility and willingness to learn
7. Ability to work in team relationships
8. Resourceful
9. Knowledgeable in child development
10. Good personal hygiene
11. No history of criminal arrests and/or convictions
12. Positive letter of recommendation from local pastor
13. High school diploma or equivalency
14. Agreement to teach in agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
15. Agreement to abide with ALL personnel policies
