Kids Rock

 

Kids Rock is:

· where kids ROCK!

This is where your kids WANT to be! Kids Rock is the elementary children’s ministry at North Valley Church. This is the place where kids experience God and discover the incredible purpose He has for them. It’s the place where kids to learn about God and what it means to live a life for Him.

 

Is it fun?
Absolutely! Kids Rock is never boring. It is packed with crazy games, stories, music and leaders who care. By the time your child moves on to middle school, there’s a few things we hope stick:

1. I need to make the wise choice.

2. I can trust God no matter what.

3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

What does Sunday look like?
When you walk in the doors of North Valley a greeter will welcome you. They’ll guide you to the children’s check-in desk for quick & easy check-in. You’ll receive a name tag for your child and one for mom or dad to pick them up after adult worship.

When you walk into to Kids Rock, the kids break into their small groups by school grade. They have the same group and same leader each week - so don’t worry, they will hang out with the same friends.

What about the leaders?
North Valley wants you to feel at ease when you come to worship. All of our children’s ministry volunteers are screened with a background check and we have a new state-of-the-art check-in system to monitor the kids whenever they are with us.

A special activity is awaiting them when they walk in the door. About 10 minutes into the hour, the small groups gather into one large group where they experience high energy, interactive worship! -Cool music and lots of fun.

Your children will have the same small group leaders each week throughout the year. If you ever have any questions about what the kids are learning, please feel free to ask their leader. They love your kids!

Each week we send home the Refrigerator sheet for you to use with your family. This, and the “God Time” devotional reinforce the week’s virtue. It’s a great way to “bring it home”!
