Giving

The Bible teaches that our giving to God is based on His example as a giver and motivated by our gratitude to Him.
1 Corinthians 16:2 specifies that our giving should be...
• Proportional (a tithe)—"in keeping with his income..."
• Personal—"each one of you..."
• Practical—"on the first day of the week (Sunday)..."
• Planned—"set aside, saving it up..."
